How to Make Almond Milk

Making almond milk requires just a 6 simple steps!

  1. Soak the Almonds: Place the almonds in a bowl and cover with water. Let them soak for at least 8 hours or overnight in the fridge. This will make it easier for them to blend.
  2. Drain and Rinse: After soaking, drain the almonds and rinse them.
  3. Blend the Almonds: Add the soaked almonds, a pinch of salt, and fresh water to a high-speed blender. Blend on high until the almonds are finely ground and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Strain the Almond Milk: Place a nut milk bag over a large bowl. Pour the almond mixture through the bag to strain out the almond pulp. Squeeze and press to extract as much almond milk as possible.
  5. Sweeten and Flavor (Optional): If you like, add dates or sweetener of choice to the strained almond milk. Blend again to combine thoroughly.
  6. Store and Use: Transfer the almond milk to a glass jar or bottle. Store it in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days. Shake well before each use, as it may separate overtime.
